Anisha Mahal,
RSW, MSW Candidate

Hello! My name is Anisha, and I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a strong foundation in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those navigating the complexities of mental health and addiction. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, respect, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive space for you to thrive. I am committed to helping you achieve your personal goals, whether you are working through emotional challenges, overcoming obstacles, or seeking a path to healing. Together, we can explore your unique experiences and build a foundation for long-term well-being.

I offer counselling in English and Punjabi. As a South Asian woman, I understand the complexities of navigating cultural identities. I value intersectionality and bring an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive lens to my practice, recognizing how various identities and systemic factors shape our experiences. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, drawing from several evidence-based modalities.

I understand how difficult it can be to take that first step toward seeking support. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you navigate life’s uncertainties and find clarity. Whether you are facing immediate challenges or seeking long-term growth, I am here to help you create the life you envision for yourself.
